In the next week, Lake Crest students will celebrate their 100th day(Friday) and World Read Aloud Day ( Wednesday, 2/5). Today, we kicked off some of our fun by starting our "Masked Reader Videos." Each day, students will listen to a masked reader and try to guess the reader. Today's video featured the book Wonky Donkey! K-5 students have set a goal to read 100 books by World Read Aloud Day to celebrate our fun week.
On Wednesday next week, students will spend the morning listening to a variety of readers share stories with them. Afterward, we will have a short assembly to "unmask" our readers from the last week.
