Just a reminder that we have an early dismissal tomorrow, Friday, February 14th, and we are IN SESSION on Monday, February 17th!

2.12.25 10:05 am
Oakland Families,
Due to the potential ice, we will be dismissing at 11:30 today, Wednesday 2.12.25. This is out of an abundance of caution for student and staff safety. All students will be served lunch prior to dismissal. All after school activities and events are canceled/postponed.
Thank you,
Nate Pugh, Superintendent

In art, Kindergarten practiced creating texture using sponges, plastic eggs and Q-tips dipped in paint to give their snakes scales. Then they learned weaving by hiding those sneaky snakes in grass. Beautiful work kindergarten!

2.11.25
Good Afternoon Oakland CUSD5 Parents and Guardians,
We are all hoping for a normal Wednesday tomorrow, 2.12.25. However, the forecast does show a chance of inclement weather. Again, student safety is our utmost priority. We would like families to be prepared in the event we need to utilize an early dismissal due to weather.
In the case we need to exercise an early dismissal, our goal is to notify families as soon as possible, feed students, and dismiss at 12:00.
At this time we are hoping for a normal Wednesday school schedule, but we are asking families to be prepared due to the forecasted inclement weather conditions.
Thank you,
Nate Pugh, Superintendent

We hope to see you at Community Coffee in the morning!
